Part-Time Social Media and Email Marketing Specialist

Old Alley Quilt Shop is a brick and mortar and online retailer located in Sherburn, MN. Founded in 2005, As we continue our impressive growth trend, we are seeking an experienced Social Media Marketer to join our team, part -time.

Job Summary

· Build and implement strategies to grow our following and drive sales across multiple platforms

· Combine your creativity with our brand values to create original content that will generate engagement and drive traffic to our website

· Use Google Analytics and other tools to track, analyze, and report metrics regarding our social media presence and growth

· Lead the optimization of our SEO and stay current with best practices

· Create and manage digital ad campaigns, including Google shopping ads

Qualifications

· 3+ years’ experience in a marketing management role

· Proven track record of using digital marketing to grow sales

· An understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, targeted marketing campaigns, and keyword research

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to change directions quickly

· An obsession and deep understanding of social media platforms and what is trending in our industry

· Must be a self-starter / motivated with minimal supervision

· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and a working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud

· Special considerations will be given to applicants with sewing or quilting experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
• Social Media Management: 1 year (Preferred)
• Marketing: 1 year (Preferred)

Physical Requirements

· Ability to stand, sit and/or walk for prolonged periods of time

· Must be able to distinguish between colors
