Dezmynd Quilt Pattern

This Layer Cake Friendly Quilt Pattern is a quick sew. Name after my Oldest Grandson Dezmynd.

Measures 70" x 79" as written but could be enlarged with more blocks and borders.

The first one we did together is this fantastic Ombre' fabric line called "Lipstick Cowgirl" by Moda. He thought the fabric border we used reminded him of a sunset. We workd the borders to continue the Ombre' all around and look like a design. The Ombre fabrics made it appear we had more fabric choices in the quilt then we did.

The second quilt shown here was done with Forgotten Memories by Riley Blake collection (kits are in a seperate item and somes with the pattern). For this one it was decided to make the 4 border sides a different fabric. This is a popular desing element that looks fantastic.
